Dr. Lisa Vu is a board certified general dentist native to Texas. Her passion for dentistry began while serving Houston’s homeless population. After earning her M.P.H. at the University of Texas School of Public Health and D.M.D. at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, she can tackle problems using two different perspectives. She is able to promote oral health and deliver compassionate care for an individual and use research methods to identify needs and solutions for a community. As clinical faculty for University of Texas School of Dentistry, she provides mentorship to dental students rotating at TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries. She is a member of the ADA, GHDS, and TDA and is certified in level one conscious sedation and laser dentistry. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking.
